Acrylic
Acrylic cuts cleanly and precisely. Etchings will appear as an ashy white color. Acrylic comes in matte, glossy, and mirrored finishes as well as in varying transparencies.
-
Wood
Wood will have a burnt edge when cut, usually close to black in color. Depending on the wood variety, engravings will show up in a light brown to dark brown shade.
-
Paper
Paper cuts quickly and with little to no burn marks. The most intricate designs are possible with this material. Score marks can be made to aid in folded designs.
-
Leather
Cutting will leave a dark brown edge on leather materials. Etching into leather is popular and can be used to make an engraved logo or pattern.
-
Fabric
Depending on the thickness and composition of the fabric material, cutting will leave a sealed, minimally burned edge. We often do custom etchings on denim or sneakers.

Cardboard
